Installation, Just Seen

Liking this “Fata Morgana” two way projection installation from Irish bord artist Laura Buckley. Made from wood, mirror perspex, mirror a 2 way projection screen and a projector — would love to have seen this in the flesh.

Exhibition, Installation

A show curated by DR.ME

As previously mentioned on here around a month ago we were invited to curate a group show as a part of Mike Perry’s Wondering around Wandering gallery/project space (which is the best place in the world) in New York. The show looked better than we could have ever imagined. Linus Bill, Rhys Coren, Ryan Doyle, Daniel Eatock, Mark Edwards, Jonathan Flanders, Sebastian Haslauer, Steve Hockett, Hannan Jones, Joseph Manning, MVM, Benjamin Rawson, Ellery Roberts, Savwo and Rasmus Svensson all excelled themselves in the work that they put forward for the show. The opening was an amazing night with over 300 guests through the doors, we talked, drank and talked again until we could no more. All good things must come to an end sadly and the show will be taken down at the end of this weekend so, if you find yourself in New York we urge you to go and have a look and if you’re there after it comes down then you should certainly go and see the next exhibition which we’ll write about soon and also Mike Perry’s retrospective which is just mind-blowingly good. Thanks to all the artists, everyone who helped you are all kings, especially you Mike!
