One of the godfather’s of graffiti from it’s humble beginnings in New York and still one of my heroes to this day. I introduce you to the work of Futura 2000, he’s collaborated with the likes of Maharishi and James Lavelle’s music venture U.N.K.L.E & the Mo Wax record label.
I haven’t seen much of his new work to date as his site seems to be a type of photoblog, but I can assure you his work is pretty amazing nonetheless. If the images above aren’t enough for you I’d highly recommend getting his book designed by the excellent Ben Drury.

I know it’s winter, but get your sunglasses at the ready with the exuberant and colourful work of NYC based artist Bjorn Copeland.
Some of you might also recognise the first image in this post on a bookshelf somewhere as it was also used on the cover of ‘Neo Geo – A New Edge To Abstraction’ by Die Gestalten Verlag. If you have a copy to hand it’s well worth a thumb through as there’s some amazing work in there, including from yours truly.
Anyway there’s my shameless plug over and done with, so if you don’t have a copy go get one now.
